I'm the new kid on the block... Are these clues to a box?

Addendum to Beach's 1906 classic.

Perhaps I should have called these The Apples of Hesperides... they're
certainly well guarded.

The first time I saw the e-mail, didn't click the pictures. Second go round, I (born and raised in Manhattan), I knew immediately where it was!

I don't get down to those parts too often anymore... After 5 years in the burbs, the subway gives me hives LOL

About 3 years ago, I went "downtown" on the subway and we had a jumper.... welcome home... Now I remember why I moved north!

yep... four boxes in the Big Apple.

I see that the link has been truncated in the message. You can
find them on the NY page in the new database site.

Amanda and I will be in New York City starting tomorrow, for 5 days and we're going to try to find time to get to these boxes. One setback though - neither one of us has been able to get the movie in the Empire clue to run (it looks like it's downloading, but the screen is blank while it is playing). Any way we can get a different version of this clue? We will try to check the egroup while we're travelling to see if there are any updates. Thanks for any help

P.S. Yes, Amanda and I are going to a Nancy Drew event together

Went and tried again this morning and was able to view the movie in the MPEG format - thanks very much! I think I know where to go now. Will report back in a few days about success or failure
